2012 Willie Scott

This is one of my favorite Indiana Jones characters. While watching the Indy movies, Willie was the one I always related to the best. Marion was way too tough and Elsa looked like an Austrian underwear model. Not to say I ever looked as good as she did either, but Willie at least reacted like I would've to all the horrible things that happen to the typical Indy girl!

I dedicate this drawing to ~dalemc1988 who has done some beautiful drawings of Willie of his own. He's one of the only other people I know that shares my fascination for drawing her!

I've had this reference since the mid-eighties. It is from a Dungeon & Dragons inspired Indiana Jones role-playing game. My sister actually is the owner of the game, but currently it's in my safe-keeping. We never really got around to figuring the game out as there is a lot of work that goes into that sort of thing. The picture isn't very high quality, so that made figuring out her features a little more difficult. Fortunately, I had another picture of Willie that was some clearer in the same pose, but a different costume. With all that's going on with my life right now, it was really fun to draw such a beloved character from childhood.
