Vivien Leigh 03/21/2013

This is Vivien Leigh as she appeared in the movie Fire Over England from the late 1930's. The reference is from the book “The Art of Gone with the Wind: The Making of a Legend” that I received on my 18th birthday way back in 1990. I used this reference once back when I first got the book, but put her in an outfit from Gone with the Wind. After several hours of drawing this, I now see why I didn't try to draw this outfit before. I actually started the drawing in November!
