This is Chris Hemsworth as Thor from the Avengers movie. Apparently armor isn't my friend as this has been one of the hardest drawings I've done in a long time. I got so burnt out on trying to draw the armor that I didn't draw for several days. I started this project in the middle of September to give you all an idea of how long I've been working on this. Now I'm ready to draw bunny rabbits or something like that. Lol!
The original is lighter than the scan. The reference is from ebay. Thor and the Avengers belong to their owners and not to me.

This is just gorgeous, stunning... gah, I'm jealous! Might I ask where you buy your mechanical pencils? Do you know of a website or something? I'm having a difficult time finding actual 'drawing' mechanical pencils- the usual that pop are the dinky brands places like Walmart carries, and it's come to my understanding that these are not the same... ? Anyway, still a beautiful drawing! And the armor is incredible!!!! And his FACE!! AH!!
Thank you! The main mechanical pencil I use to do the line drawing is about 18 years old. It is a .5 Pentel that I bought at Wal-Mart. The others I use to shade with are also Wal-Mart pencils by Pentel. I think they're called Icy pencils, but I'm not sure. I also have a .3 mechanical pencil that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. It sometimes doesn't want to work and my husband has to take it apart from time-to-time. It's a Pentel as well.
