This is one of my earlier Bristol board drawings from 2001. You will notice how the shading is even less smooth than I do now. I almost put it in scraps, but decided to put it in the regular gallery just based on how hard this was to draw!
I was in a car wreck in the middle of working on this that resulted in a painful cut on my drawing arm from my wrist to my elbow. So, being able to complete this drawing was somewhat of a miracle to me.

This is stunning. Absolutely stunning. All the pearls, beads, and lace, is perfect. You are a VERY talented artist. And the fact that you finished it after being in a car accident? Amazing! You really did do a fantastic job here, not only rendering that lovely, stubborn as anything to draw, (I know for I have tried to draw her wearing this headdress myself) headdress, but capturing the very essence of Mrs. Padmé herself. Again, wonderful job. I hope to become as great as and artist as you someday
