This is the first in a series of 5 x 7 drawings of Padme. For years I've planned to draw her in every costume from the movies, but have finally found a way to do this. Taking the advice of *Rick-Kills-Pencils, I'm experimenting with drawing on a smaller scale. 5 x 7 still allows details like a 9 x 12 drawing, but with much less time required. With my life as it is now, I'll take all the help I can get to finish detailed drawings in a short time. Also, I would like to dedicate this first drawing in the series to *AngelinaBenedetti as this is one of her favorite outfits from the movies.
Padme and Star Wars are the property of George Lucas and not me. The reference picture was found on the internet at [link]

You caught what is my favorite moment in the prequel trilogy -- when Padme knows what she's denied to herself, that she's in love with a man who is doomed.
